Board of Education

This month we are recognizing not a volunteer but a group of volunteers, the Board of Education of our Torah School. This amazing group of volunteers, Rosa Allen, Jacob Lieb, Dani Paquin, Keith Small, and Rachel Tu, are a force to be reckoned with and a significant part of the strength of our Torah School. Led by Dani Paquin, the Vice President of Education on the TBE Board of Directors, this group can accomplish anything! Last year they created the first day Scavenger Hunt, helped to deliver textbooks and special supplies multiple times, sold Ruach Wear, and planned the Maccabiah. They also created the Torah School SUNday FUNday at the beach which will be an annual event going forward.

They bring enthusiasm, expertise, TBE history, technical knowledge, and love that shows in all that they do. Nothing is too big or too small for them to tackle. They have also been involved with fine tuning our Covid protocols and will be helping to implement them as well.

Randi Sher, Director of Education, had this to say, “Starting a new position always has its ups and downs but doing it in a pandemic when schools are virtual is a whole new process. These volunteers made it possible for Torah School to run smoothly and for me not to be overwhelmed. I do not think I could have done things to the same extent without them.”
