Lights, Camera, Action!
We are getting ready to rollout Temple Beth El’s new “Welcome Home” 2021 video. The video’s debut will be at our annual meeting.
A very special thanks to Sharyl Holtzman and Bob Gold, our video direction team. Bob created the script and the theme for the video. Sharyl worked hand in hand with the videographer, Mike Kirsch of Cinematek Productions, and oversaw each detail from the photos to the finished credits. We are also appreciative to Rabbi Cassi and to Cantor Ilan for their guidance. Thanks also to Bob Remstein, TBE’s Music Director, for the beautiful version of Hiney Ma Tov which Cantor sings. And a special thanks to our Open Tent chair, George Mayer, whose vision for this video helped to make it a reality.
As you watch the video and listen to Rabbi’s words and Cantor’s music, the warmth, welcoming, and inclusion that is TBE is felt. Sharing life cycle events of our congregants, showing our social action partnerships, expressing the joy that TBE members feel when they are together, all of this is what makes us special. In the words of Rabbi Cassi in the video, “Temple Beth El is a place where people look for meaning through shared life experiences strengthened by the bonds we create with each other.”
In the coming months, as we begin to welcome everyone home again, we hope that the special spirit of this video will be with you. Share it with your friends so that they too can experience the joy of belonging to Temple Beth El. We will also share the video on Facebook, Instagram and within our community.
And as some of our families say in the video, “Welcome home!”
