Selihot

Last Chance for Reservations!
THIS SATURDAY, September 1
at TBE
6:00 p.m. Congregational Writing Project led by Theatre Dybbuk
6:30 p.m. Deli Dinner
7:45 p.m. Performance by Theatre Dybbuk
8:30 p.m. Selihot Service including Havdalah
At 6:00 p.m. the directors of Theatre Dybbuk will guide us through a writing exercise on T’Shuvah.
At 7:45 p.m. our performance begins featuring an original storytelling by Theatre Dybbuk based on the writings of our congregation done earlier in the evening.
We will begin our Selihot Service at 8:30 p.m. During that service we will change our Torah scrolls’ mantles to their white covers for the High Holy Days.

What started as ROMEOs-Retired Old Men Eating Out-has expanded to include the Jewliettes. But don’t let the name fool you. It’s not only retired folks. All are welcome, TBE membership not required. There are no dues, just the opportunity to meet and eat regularly with a group of like-minded people.

Important Notices

High Holy Days
You’ll notice a change to your High Holy Days tickets this year; your ticket now takes the form of a name tag. We are excited to roll out this change to facilitate personal connections during this time of year when more people than usual are in our synagogue.
Your name tag-tickets will be mailed the last week of August. If you haven’t taken care of your annual commitment, please send it to Shoni as soon as possible so that your packet goes out on time.
