5th Annual Shoe Drive at TBE
Ends this Friday, May 18
Please consider donating any gently used men’s, women’s, and/or children’s shoes and new (unworn) socks to benefit Shoes for the Homeless, Inc., a 501 (c)3 charitable corporation whose mission is to provide shoes, free of charge, to the homeless.
Shoes should be deposited in the three built-in collection bins located in the elevator alcove at Temple Beth El.

If you are interested or would like to learn more about the havurah, please email Joan Friedman, Havurot Chair.
The word “havurah” comes from the Hebrew word “haver,” meaning friend. Its primary purpose is to promote Jewish fellowship. Each havurah is a small community of congregants who gather together to socialize, learn more about Jewish subjects, celebrate Jewish holidays, or may take any focus that the group chooses.
