Volunteer Opportunity!
Saturday, March 31
at Fort MacArthur Community Center

The Fort MacArthur Base is hosting an Easter EggStravaganza for its soldiers and families. The Community Center on Base is looking for volunteers to help with this event. There are multiple shifts available as follows:
7:30am – 9:30am (set up)
9:00am – 11:00am (set up and egg hunt)
1:00pm – 3:00pm (tear down)
If you are interested to volunteer, please contact Katie Reynolds, the Fort MacArthur Community Center Director, at least one week in advance of the event with the following information:
Full name, DOB, Drivers License Number and State of Issue.
For teenagers over 10 who would like to volunteer, bring a school ID.

5th Annual Shoe Drive
Please consider donating any gently used men’s, women’s, and/or children’s shoes and new (unworn) socks to benefit Shoes for the Homeless, Inc., a 501 (c)3 charitable corporation whose mission is to provide shoes, free of charge, to the homeless.
Shoes should be deposited in the three built-in collection bins located in the elevator alcove at Temple Beth El.

Single Women’s Havurah
Deborah’s Daughters Havurah
invites single, TBE women to join!
If you are interested or would like to learn more about the havurah, please contact Joan Friedman, Havurot Chair.
The word “havurah” comes from the Hebrew word “haver,” meaning friend. Its primary purpose is to promote Jewish fellowship. Each havurah is a small community of congregants who gather together to socialize, learn more about Jewish subjects, celebrate Jewish holidays, or may take any focus that the group chooses.
