The Golden State Pops Orchestra will be performing Sandy Sherman’s Hanukkah song “There’s Something About Those Candles”

The Golden State Pops Orchestra’s “Holiday POPS Spectacular” returns with a festive musical program at the Warner Grand Theater in San Pedro on Saturday, December 21 at 8:00 p.m. The Golden State Pops Orchestra is a professional orchestra which includes some of the best L.A. musicians, along with Broadway quality singers, dedicated to the film and television industry. Some of the world’s most renown film composers come to conduct their music written for film and their concerts are always wonderful.

From their description, “We are thrilled to announce the addition of ‘There’s Something About Those Candles’ to the program for our Holiday POPS Spectacular on December 21st. Written by Sandy Sherman, ‘There’s Something About Those Candles’ is a song with a meaningful, universal message that captures the essence of what Hanukkah is really about. Hear this great song, and meet Sandy Sherman, at our concert on December 21st.”

Maestro Steven Allen Fox and Resident Choir Maestra Marya Basaraba will lead the 100-member Golden State Pops Orchestra and Chorale in a performance of timeless holiday film music, and traditional favorites.
